Up for sale is a rare Fender Japan ST-62M (for Medium scale) finished in Vintage White.
It features most of the specs of 62 reissue Strat but it has a 24.75″ scale (Les Paul scale) and 9 1/5″ fretboard radius with wide oval frets.
The nut measures 1.5748″ (40mm) and the neck profile is a comfortable C shape.

The pickups are Fender USA Vintage pickups and these sound great.
This model has long been out of production and these are extremely hard to find nowadays especially in this condition.
As far as flaws there are some small nicks and scratches. There is a hairline crack on the neck pocket on the side of the upper horn and some damage in the back strap pin area on the side of the body – these do not affect playability nor the structural integrity of the guitar, but I priced this one accordingly due to these flaws.
There is some light wear on the frets, but there is plenty of life left.
The body is made of Basswood and the guitar weighs a comfortable 7 lbs and 3 oz.
Sorry I did not get the tremolo arm with this guitar.
All parts appear to be original and in proper working order. The serial# is JD120XXXX.

The guitar plays and sounds great – the shorter scale allows for less string tension, which facilitates strechy chords or challenging stretchy scales.

Sorry no international buyers for this one, I will only sell and ship to the continental USA.
The guitar will be shipped in its original gig bag – but I will bubble wrap the guitar before placing it inside the gig bag. All sales are final – the guitar is sold as is.

Email me with any questions before purchasing this guitar.
