The Gibson Barney Kessel was produced from 1961 to 1974 and was used by many famous jazz guitarists, including Herb Ellis, Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny.

Available in two models, the standard and a more luxurious version like this one: the Custom model.

Only about 740 Customs were produced during the twelve years of production, which makes this guitar quite rare on the market.

Here is a copy originally right-handed, modified by one of its former owners into left-handed.
