1973 GIBSON SG STANDARD Lefty, Walnut Color,Very Rare, All Original Excellent Conditions Original Gibson Case code LH779

Original pickups sound incredible, they are super warm, fat and punchy. The neck is nice and chunky, it plays like butter all the way up and down.its Walnut finish is nicely faded & has a cool slightly worn patina, its 2 factory patent black stickers are quite potent & warm sounding, its 3 piece mahogany neck rosewood fingerboard & block inlays feels great as its rare ebony fingerboard with original frets in excellent conditions. The three-piece mahogany neck features a slender C shape at the nut, with more roundness and shoulder as you travel up the fretboard, filling out to a hearty handful from the 9th fret and beyond. The profile measures .810″ deep at the 1st fret and a modestly massive 1.025″ at the 12th. The thick slab ebony fretboard is unusual for this model (rosewood was far more common), and this tone wood gives this SG a particularly articulate and glassy note attack.
