Up for sale is a super cool and incredibly rare vintage left handed circa 1985 Carvin V220 in excellent condition and perfect working order. We just gave it a pro set up with a set of 10-46 gauge strings so it plays amazingly with a straight neck, low action and accurate intonation. The original Carvin humbuckers sound exceptionally good and have all of the of warmth, clarity and crunch you’d expect and hope for.

Cosmetically, this instrument is insanely clean and has been well taken care of over the years. That’s really an understatement. This beast just hasn’t been played much. There’s a few tiny and very shallow dings scattered around and a small cluster of scratches on the front of the headstock just north of the 6th string tuning post. Besides that, there’s some general swirling and light scratching in the clear coat from handling and cleaning. The original frets look great still with no discernible wear to speak of. You’d be real hard pressed to find a cleaner V220 let alone a left handed example. See pics for condition and please excuse any reflections.

To the best of our knowledge, this instrument is all original save for the new bone nut that was just installed. Comes with the original (and very heavy) Cheney hard shell case and original trem arm. Pug not included. The guitar weighs 9lbs 3.0oz. The nut width is 1.653”. The neck thickness is .780” at the 1st fret and .960” at the 12th fret.
